صبيةٌ بظرها بجنبي

A girl beside me,

Sleeps like a bloody boy,

فاعل فوق الفراش ينصب

Her object in the passive voice,

Its subject rapes her on the bed.

وسرمها كان أمس غراً

لم يتفقه ولا تأدب

Her secret yesterday was still a bud,

No wisdom or manners she had.

فاليوم قد صار منذُ قاسى

أمور أهل الزنا وجرب

But today it withered away,

After enduring the adulterers' foul play.

إذا رأى الأير من بعيدٍ

بوق في وجهه ودبدب

When she sees a man from afar,

She covers her face in shame and fear.
