1. اليوم أَنْكَصَ إِبليسٌ عَلَى عَقِبِهْ

    مُبَرَّءاً سَبَبُ الغاوينَ من سَبَبِهْ

    Today Iblis retreated back on his heels

    Exonerating the misguided of his misguidance

  2. واسْتَيْقَنَتْ شِيَعُ الكفَّارِ حَيْثُ نَأَتْ

    فِي الشَّرْقِ والغربِ أَنَّ الشِّركَ من كَذِبِهْ

    And the followers of the unbelievers became certain

    In the East and West, that polytheism was of his lies

  3. بِشنْتِياقَةَ لما أَن دَلَفْتَ لَهُ

    بالبِيضِ كالبدرِ يَسْرِي فِي سَنا شُهُبِهْ

    Yearning when you entered it

    With the white like the full moon walking in the gray of his old age

  4. وحَلْبَةُ الدينِ والإِسلامِ عاطِفَةٌ

    عَلَيْكَ كالفَلَكِ الجاري عَلَى قُطُبِهْ

    And the sphere of religion and Islam was inclined

    Towards you like the orbiting sphere to its axis

  5. حَتَّى فَصَمْتَ عُرى دينِ الضلالَةِ من

    راسِ القواعِدِ ممنوعِ الحِمى أَشِبِهْ

    Until you untied the bonds of the religion of misguidance

    From the head of its pillars, forbidden sanctuary like it

  6. لَمْ يَذْعَرِ الدهرُ فيه نَفْسَ سَائِمَةٍ

    ولا أَصاخَتْ لَهُ أُذْنٌ إِلَى نُوَبِهْ

    The era did not panic in it a wondering soul

    Nor did an ear scream to its disasters

  7. مما اصْطَفَتْ عَبَدُ الطَّاغُوتِ واعتقدَتْ

    وشَيَّدَ الكُفْرُ فِي الآلافِ من حِقَبِهْ

    From what the servant of tyranny chose and believed

    And disbelief built in the thousands of its eras

  8. عمودُ شِركِهِمُ السَّامِي ذوائِبُهُ

    والرُّومُ والحُبْشُ والأَفْرنْجُ من طُنُبِهْ

    The high pillar of their polytheism and its attachments

    And the Romans, Abyssinians and Franks from its bundles

  9. تَحجُّهُ فِرَقُ الكُفَّارِ سائِلَةً

    كالجَوِّ أَظْلَمَ فِيهِ مُلتَقى شُحُبِهْ

    Which the groups of the unbelievers make pilgrimage to

    Like the darkest clouds in which the meeting place of gloom converges

  10. مُسْتَوْدَعٌ فِي شِعابِ الأَرضِ حَيْثُ نَأَى

    شُمُّ الجِبالِ ولُجُّ البحرِ من حُجُبِهْ

    A repository in the crevices of the earth where it is remote

    The smell of mountains and depth of sea from its barriers

  11. من كُلِّ أَغبَرَ من عَضِّ السِّفارِ بِهِ

    وساهِمِ الوجه من طُولِ السُّرَى شَجِبِهْ

    From every dust from the bite of traveling in it

    And the one with the grim face from the length of its captivity

  12. وكلِّ مُهْدٍ إِلَى أَركانِ بِيعَتِهِ

    مَا عزَّ من نفسِهِ فِيهَا ومن نَشَبِهْ

    And every supporter to the pillars of its pledge

    That did not hesitate from himself in it and from his determination

  13. قَدْ طالما أَحْفَتِ الأَملاكُ أَرْجُلَها

    فِيهِ وَخَرَّتْ عَلَى الأَذْقانِ من رَهبِهْ

    The angels have long folded their feet in it

    And fell on their chins from awe of it

  14. أَمَمْتَهُ بجنودِ الحقِّ فانْقَلَبَتْ

    بغُرَّةِ الفتحِ من تغييرِ مُنْقَلَبِهْ

    You destroyed it with the soldiers of truth so it was transformed

    With the joy of victory from the change of its transformation

  15. وسُمْتَهُ جاحِماً للنارِ مَا بَقِيَتْ

    نفسٌ من الكفرِ إِلّا وَهْيَ من حَطَبِهْ

    And you called it raging into the fire until no soul remains

    From disbelief except it becomes of its kindling

  16. يا حُسْنَ مرأَى الهُدى من قُبْحِ مَنْظَرِهِ

    وبَرْدَ أَكبادِ حزبِ الله من لَهَبِهْ

    O beautiful sight of guidance from the ugliness of its view

    And coolness of the livers of God's party from its flames

  17. وعاذ بِرْمُندُ منهُ بالفرارِ وكَمْ

    من قبلِها عاذَ بالأَنصابَ من صُلُبِهْ

    And Bermund fled from it in escape, and how much

    Before it fled to idols from its crucifixion

  18. مستوطِناً مَرْكِبَ الإِحجامِ عنكَ وَهَلْ

    يعدُو بِهِ وِجْهَةَ المحتومِ من عَطَبِهْ

    Inhabiting the ship of restraint from you, but does it

    Escape the ordained fate from its loss

  19. مُسْتَخْفِياً بظلامِ الليلِ منكَ فَإِنْ

    وافاهُ صُبْحٌ توارى فِي دُجى كُرَبِهْ

    Hiding in the darkness of night from you, but if

    Morning meets it, it hides in the gloom of its anguish

  20. قَدْ حَقَّتِ اليومَ منه قَلْبِ مُلْتَهِبٍ

    For it the heart of an inflamed one that does not deter

    Birds in a plain or a mountain today has become lawful

  21. لا يزجُرُ الطَّيْرَ فِي سهلٍ ولا جَبَلٍ

    إِلّا بوارِحَ تُعْمِي عَيْنَ مُقْتَرِبِهْ

    Except with limbs that blind the approaching eye from it

    And where is the way to victory from you when you have

  22. وأَيْنَ منه سبيلُ الفوزِ منكَ وَقَدْ

    سَلَلْتَ سيفَ الهُدى والنَّصْرِ فِي طَلَبِهْ

    Unsheathed the sword of guidance and victory in its pursuit

    And Iliyya which was steadfast with effort

  23. و إِيلياءُ الَّتِي كانَتْ أَلِيَّة ذِي

    جَهْدٍ من الشِّرْكِ خاشِي الإِثْمِ مُرْتَقِبِهْ

    From polytheism, fearing sin while expecting it

    You raised from it the elevation of fire which illuminated for them

  24. رفَعْتَ منها سَنا نارٍ أَضاءَ لَهُمْ

    مَا كَانَ أَوْدَعَها الشيطانُ من رِيَبِهْ

    What Satan had made ambiguous for them from its doubt

    A determination from you that if a pile kindled

  25. يشُبُّها منكَ عزمٌ لَوْ وَنَى ضَرَمٌ

    منها لأَضْرَمَها فِي اللهِ منْ غَضَبِهْ

    From it, would ignite it for God from its anger

    So may God reward you O Mansur, you called Him

  26. فالله جازِيكَ يَا منصورُ دَعَوْتَهُ

    بسَعْيِ ماضٍ لنصرِ الدين مُحْتَسِبِهْ

    With honest effort to aid the religion, its reward exacted

    And you led brigades for Islam with them

  27. وعن كتائِبَ للإِسلامِ قُدْتَ بِهَا

    إِلَى رِضا اللهِ حَتَّى كُنَّ من كُتُبِهْ

    To the pleasure of God until they become of His scriptures

    And a believer erecting himself to God his stance

  28. ومؤمِنٍ مُنْصِبٍ للهِ مُهْجَتَهُ

    بَلَّغْتَهُ أَمَدَ المغبوطِ مِن نَصَبِهْ

    You let him reach the horizon of the blissful from his erecting

    And of swords of guidance whose blades you did not bare

  29. وعن حُسامِ هُدىً لَمْ تَجْلُ صفحَتَهُ

    إِلّا أَسَلْتَ دِماءَ الشِّرْكِ فِي شُطَبِهْ

    Except you made the blood of polytheism flow in its polishedness

    And let Mansur boast on a day of exaltation you left

  30. وليفتَخِرْ منك يَا مَنْصُورُ يَوْمُ عُلاً

    تركتَ غابِرَةَ الأَيامِ تَفَخَرُ بِهْ

    The passing days boasting with it
