A new era and a new craftsmanship
And a world that pleases and prosperity that grows
And rain that pours and a life that is good
And power that persists and a threat that recurs
And a kingdom that illuminates with the servant of the King
Like the mid-morning sun assisted by luck
And victory as wishes hope for
And a master as the slaves desire
Modesty, patience, grace, justice
Compassion, pardon, might and munificence
When he attacks, melting with comfort
And if he draws (the sword), the iron melts
Oh best of those born of kings
And most generous of those the troops have supported
And bravest whom the horses have carried
And most awe-inspiring whom the lions have feared
And most steadfast whom the swords have tested
And most beautiful whom the banners have shaded
And he who is for the kingdom an impregnable fortress
And he who is for the religion a towering pillar
Accept the gift of a servant who fashioned it
With a thankful tongue and an affectionate heart
Jewels of poetry of free praise
The nights pass but do not pass away
