1. دُعيتَ فَأَصْغِ لِداعي الطَّرَبْ

    وطاب لَكَ الدهرُ فاشْرَبْ وَطِبْ

    You are called, so listen to the caller of joy

    And life is sweet for you, so drink and relish

  2. وهذا بَشيرُ الربيع الجديد

    يُبَشِّرُنَا أَنَّهُ قَدْ قَرُبْ

    This is the herald of the new spring

    Bringing us tidings that it has drawn near

  3. بَهَارٌ يَروقُ بِمِسْكٍ ذَكِيٍّ

    وصُنعٍ بَديعٍ وخَلْقٍ عَجَبْ

    A spring that delights with fine musk

    And wondrous making and marvelous nature

  4. غصونُ الزَّبَرْجَدِ قَدْ أَوْرَقَتْ

    لَنَا فِضَّةً نَوَّرَتْ بالذَّهَبْ

    The branches of the barberry have leafed

    Giving us silver that shines with gold

  5. إذا جُمِعَتْ فِي جِبالِ الحَرِيرِ

    وقَامَتْ أَمامك مِثلَ اللُّعَبْ

    When gathered on hills of silk

    And standing before you like playthings

  6. فَمِنْ حَقِّها أَنْ تَرى الشَّارِبينَ

    وَقَدْ نَفَّقَتْ سُوقُهُمْ بالنُّخَّبْ

    It is their due to see the drinkers

    As their market overflows with finesse

  7. وأَنْ تَسْألوا اللهَ طُولَ البَقَاءِ

    لِعَبْدِ المَلِيكِ مَليكِ العَرَبْ

    That you may ask God for lasting days

    For the slave of the King, the King of Arabs

  8. فلولا مَحاسِنُهُ لَمْ تَرُقْ

    ولولا شمائِلُهُ لَمْ تَطِبْ

    For were it not for his beauties, life would not be sweet

    And were it not for his qualities, life would not relish
