1. بَشِّرِ الخَيْلَ يومَ كَرِّ الطِّرادِ

    وظُبى الهندِ عند حَرِّ الجِلادِ

    Give glad tidings to the horses on the day of attack,

    And the Indian antelopes during the heat of battle,

  2. وسماءَ العُلى بنَجْمِ المساعي

    ورياضَ المنى بصَوْبِ الغَوادِي

    And the highest heaven with the star of endeavors,

    And the gardens of wishes with the direction of valleys,

  3. ثُمَّ وافِ القصورَ من مُلْكِ بُصْرى

    بالمَشِيدات من ذُرى شَدَّادِ

    Then head to the palaces of the Kings of Basra

    With the erected pillars of the descendants of Shaddad,

  4. ثُمَّ نادِ الأَذواءَ عن ذِي الرياسا

    تِ نداءً يُصغِي لَهُ كُلُّ نادِ

    Then call the nobles from the one with leadership

    A call that is listened to by every companion,

  5. وصَلَتْكُمْ أرحامُ مُلْكٍ نَمَتْكُمْ

    من كرامِ الأَمْلاكِ والأَجْوادِ

    You were raised by the wombs of a kingdom that grew you

    From the generous and noble rulers,

  6. وهَناكُمْ منصُورُكُمْ من تُجِيبٍ

    فِي مساعٍ جلَّتْ عنِ الأَنْدادِ

    And you were supported by your victorious Mansur

    In glorious efforts that surpassed all equals,

  7. بلَّغَتْ مجدَكُمْ نُجُومَ الثُّرَيَّا

    ومساعِيكُمُ أَقاصِي البلادِ

    Your glory was carried by the stars of Thurayya,

    And your endeavors to the furthest lands,

  8. ونمى منكُمُ إِلَى المُلْكِ سيفٌ

    نافذُ الحكمِ فِي رقابِ الأَعادِي

    And a sword grew from you to rule,

    Penetrating in the necks of enemies,

  9. بِسِماتٍ أَهدَتْ لكم هَدْيَ هودٍ

    وبحِلْمٍ أَعادَ أَحلامَ عادِ

    With traits that Hod's gift presented you,

    And wisdom that restored the dreams of Aad,

  10. وأَنارَتْ بِهِ نجومُ المعالي

    وأَنارَ الدُّنيا ببيضِ الأَيادِي

    It illuminated the stars of glories,

    And illuminated the world with the whiteness of hands,

  11. وَهْوَ فِي المنجبينَ أَعلى وأزكى

    والدٍ أَنْتَ أَكرَمُ الأَولادِ

    And it is the highest and purest among the excellent,

    You are the most generous of fathers,

  12. قمرٌ فِي مطالع الملك أَوْفى

    طالِعاً والمُنى عَلَى مِيعادِ

    A moon in the ascendant of the kingdom, truly

    Rising while wishes are to the appointed time,

  13. وتلاقَتْ زُهْرُ النجومِ عَلَيْهِ

    بسُعودِ الجُدُودِ والأَجدادِ

    And the flowers of stars gathered upon it,

    With the good fortune of ancestors and forefathers,

  14. وسما للإِسلامِ باسْمِ أَبيهِ

    وانتحى باسْمِ جَدِّهِ للأَعادِي

    And it named Islam with the name of its father,

    And turned away from enemies with its grandfather's name,

  15. فَهْوَ للدين بالحياةِ بشيرٌ

    وهو للشِّرْكِ مُنْذِرٌ بالنَّآدِ

    So it is the giver of glad tidings for the religion in life,

    And it is the warner of polytheism with laments,

  16. سابِقُ الشَّأْوِ لَمْ يُؤَخِّرْ مداهُ

    عن مداكُم تَأَخُّرُ المِيلادِ

    The foremost whose prominence did not delay

    From your prominence the delay of birth,

  17. وَلَدَتْهُ الحروبُ منكمْ تماماً

    فارِسَ الخيل فارِسَ الآسادِ

    Wars birthed it from you completely,

    The horseman of horses, the horseman of lions.

  18. واكْتَسى الدينُ منه ثوبَ سرورٍ

    وصليبُ الضَّلالِ ثوبَ حِدادِ

    And religion donned from it a robe of joy,

    While the cross of misguidance donned a robe of mourning,

  19. فهنيئاً للتَّاجِ أَيُّ جبينٍ

    عندَهُ أَيُّ عاتقٍ للنِّجادِ

    So congratulations to the crown, which forehead

    Can bear it, which neck can carry it,

  20. وهنيئاً لَنَا وللدِّين والدُّنْ

    يا وللبِيضِ والقَنا والجيادِ

    And congratulations to us, the religion, the world,

    And the white banners, the spears and the steeds,

  21. وغريبٍ تهوي بِهِ كُلُّ أَرضٍ

    وشريدٍ ينبُو بِهِ كُلُّ وادِ

    And a stranger which every land desires,

    And an outcast which every valley echoes,

  22. وهنيئاً لِطَيِّئٍ ولِهَمْدَا

    نَ ولَخْمٍ وكِنْدَةٍ ومُرادِ

    And congratulations to Tayy, Hamdan,

    Kinda and Murad.
