Your abandonment has become my habit,
And pining for you has become my addiction,
Oh you who lead me to my death,
Because of you I have become afflicted with what ails me,
Neither complaining nor giving shelter to my estrangement,
And healing the torment of my injury,
And sufficing me after times of hardship,
Protecting me from the evil of torment.
My eyes have not seen a more splendid gazelle,
Radiating in the prime of youth,
The night lowered its veil,
On the softness of letting down the veil,
Then appeared like the appearance of the
Moon from beneath the clouds,
In necklaces of stars,
And veils of mirage,
It is my sleep and my joy,
My pillow and my sorrow.
