حاشا لِعَبدِ الرَحيمِ سَيِّدِنا الـ
ـفاضِلِ مِمّا تَقولُهُ السُّفَلُ
Far be it from the servant of the Merciful, our noble
Master, what the vile say,
وَتَبَّ مَن قالَ إِنَّ حَدبَتَهُ
في ظَهرِهِ مِن عَبيدِهِ حَبَلُ
And repentance to him who said that his hump
on his back is from his slaves a rope.
هَذا قِياسٌ في غَيرِ سَيِّدِنا
يَصِحُّ إِن كانَ يَحبَلُ الرَجُلُ
This is an analogy that does not apply to our Master,
It is valid if a man were to hump.
