قالوا الرَشيدُ بِغاؤُهُ مُستَحدَثٌ

كَسَبوا خَطيئَتَهُ وَباؤوا باثمِهِ

They said al-Rashid's adultery is newly invented,

They attributed his sin to him and publicized his crime.

ما ذاكَ إِلّا عادَةٌ مَألوفَةٌ

طَبعاً لَهُ مُذ كانَ في بَطنِ امِّهِ

That is just an accustomed, familiar habit,

An inborn nature for him since he was in his mother's womb.

كانَت غَراميلُ الزُناةِ إِذا أَتَت

حِرَها تَلَقّاها الجَنينُ بِسُرمِهِ

The whores' foetuses, when they came,

The embryo would meet them with his penis.

فَلِذاكَ يَشتاقُ المَنِيَّ لِأَنَّهُ

مِنهُ ترَكَّبَ لحمُهُ مَع عَظمِهِ

That is why he craves semen, because

His flesh and bones were composed from it.
