قُل لِعيسى أَنفِ أَنفِه

أَنفُهُ ضَعفٌ لِضَعفِهْ

Tell Jesus to watch his nose

His nose is weak from weakness

لَم يَنَم مُذ كانَ إِلَّا

أَلصَقَ الأَنفَ بِسَقفِهْ

He hasn't slept since he was

Sticking his nose to the ceiling

فَتَرى السَّقفَ وَقَد أَخْ

رَبَهُ مِنهُ بِحَرفِهْ

So you see the ceiling was made

Crooked by his letter

إِنَّ مَن عاداكَ يا عِي

سَى لَمَقرونٌ بِحَتفِهْ

Indeed, whoever opposes you, O Jesus

Is destined to lose his head

أَنتَ لَو تَستَنشِقُ الثَّو

رَ بِقَرنَيهِ وَظِلفِهْ

If you were to sniff the bull

With its horns and shade

لَهَوى في مَنخر يَس

تَغرِقُ الخَلقَ بِنِصفِهْ

It would fall into your nostril

And drown the people in half

لَو تَراهُ راكِباً وَالت

تيْهُ قَد مالَ بِعِطفِهْ

If you were to see him riding while

Leaning on his elbow

لَرَأَيتَ الأَنفَ في السَّر

جِ وَعيسى ردفُ أَنفِهْ

You would see the nose in the saddle

And Jesus riding behind his nose
