1. يَظَلُّ لَهُ سَيفُ النَّبِيِّ كَأَنَّما

    لَهُ دَمعَةٌ مِن لَوعَةِ الشَّوقِ تَذرِفُ

    The sword of the Prophet remains for him as if

    It has a teardrop of yearning sorrow dripping

  2. حَمائِلُهُ وَالبَردُ تَعلَمُ أَنَّهُ

    هُوَ الطِّينَةُ الأولى الَّتي كانَ يعرِفُ

    Its sheaths and the cold know that he

    Is the original clay that it used to recognize

  3. حَلَفتُ وَمِن حَقِّ الَّذي قُلتُ إِنَّني

    أَقولُ وَأَثني بَعد ذاكَ وَأَحلِفُ

    I swore and by the right of what I said that I

    Say and praise after that and swear

  4. فَما هابَ أَهلُ الظُّلمِ مِثلَكَ سايساً

    وَلا أَنصَفَ المَظلومَ مِثلُكَ مُنصِفُ

    So the people of injustice never feared anyone like you as a politician

    And no one was as fair to the oppressed as you are fair
