مصريةٌ كأنَّها
بدرٌ فجلَّ مَنْ خَلَقْ
An Egyptian woman, as though she were
a full moon—exalted is He who created her!
تملقَتْ مكراً ولا
يُنكرُ مِنْ مصرَ الملَقْ
She wheedled with guile; and no one would
fault such wheedling from Egypt.
