غريبةُ الدارِ سَبَتْ مهجتي

بالخلفِ ألقاها وتلقاني

The strangeness of my abode has stolen my heart,

I cast it behind me and it found me,

مِنْ كثرةِ القانيَ منْ خدها

أشكو فيشكو قلةَ القاني
