أنا سنيٌّ وحالي

بالإماميَّةِ خالِ

I am Sunni, yet my state

Is with the Imami faith entwined

قدرُها عندي عليٌّ

وغرامي متوالِ

To me, Ali holds great weight

And my love for him is inclined
