The sun and moon are vexed by her, if only

Their vexations could reach her, it would suffice

Oh lover, you are blamed for longing after her

If she allowed you her mouth, it would be enough

Your blackness against her fairness is a flaw

If her lips met yours, they would suffice

Lower your gaze if you encounter her

Every soul who sees her is destroyed

Who hasn't seen her doesn't know safety

Who has seen her knows, has truly seen
