قوِّضْ إلى قوصِ الصعيدِ فبابُها

بابٌ صحيحٌ للقبولِ مجرَّبُ

Head to the hill of Qawṣ, for its door

Is sound, well-tried, open to all once more

مَنْ لم يجدْ ماءً يكنْ متيمِماً

قوصاً فقوصُ هي الصعيدُ الطيّبُ

He who finds no water, let him prep to pray

With sand so fine from Qawṣ, best wudū’ clay
