منْ يبعْ ذاتَ جمالٍ

كانَ لا يصبرُ عنها

Whoever sells a beauty

Could not bear to part with it

فدواءُ الصبِّ عندي

مُشترى أحسنَ منها

Yet to me the cure for passion

Is better bought than freely gained
