وَذِي زَوْجَةٍ تَشْكُو فَقُلْتُ لَهُ اسْقِهَا

دَوَاءً مِن الْحَبِّ الْمُلَيِّنِ لِلْبَطْنِ

And one whose wife complained, so I said give her

medicine of benign love potion for the belly.

فَقَالَ أَبَتْ شُرْبَ الدَّوَاءِ بِطَبْعِهَا

فَقُلْتُ اِسْقِهَا إِنْ عَافَتِ الشُّرْبَ بِالقَرْنِ

So he said, she refused to drink medicine in her nature

So I said, give it to her whether she refuses drink by force.
