تَخَالُ عند الْمَزْجِ إِبْرِيقَنَا
وَكَأَسَنَا مِنْ فَمِهِ تَقْرُبُ
Our goblets seem to kiss
As wine is poured at every sip;
عَيْناً مِنْ الْمَاءِ وَمِنْ دُونِهِ
غَزَالَةٌ قَدْ أَقْبَلَتْ تَشْرَبُ
With eyes of water, pure and deep,
A thirsty doe has come to drink.
