بَيْنَ السِّهَامِ وَبَيْنَ كُتْبِكَ نِسْبَةٌ

فَبِهَا يُصَابُ مِنَ الْعَدُوِّ الْمَقْتَلُ

Between your arrows and your writings there is a proportion

By which the enemy is slain

وَإِذَا أَرَدْتَ لَهَا زِيَادَةَ نِسْبَةٍ

هَذِي وَهَذِي فِي الْكِنَانَةِ تُجْعَلُ

And if you want to increase that proportion
