My Master, my Master, if pleasing you means my blood is shed

Then I have come rushing to offer it on foot

And if a sin has been committed, which my own hand nurtured

And my remorse for it has long persisted and pained me

Then grant me its forgiveness, and pardon any wrong

Or stumbling, and tend to my love, for it is lasting
