Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return

How preoccupied man becomes from his own status

He finds comfort in clothes with which he is adorned

Yet the shroud's thread remains separated for his burial

He hoards money for his inheritor

Exhausting the extent of his goblets

He neglected the transient life of a man

And turned to Him his eye of knowledge

There remains nothing but the present stance

Justice has been entrusted with its measuring

A neglectful one suffers for his neglect

While a good-doer is rewarded for his goodness
