قصَدْتُ الى المَوْلى أبي عُمَرَ الرِّضى

غدَتْ بالذي يُرْضي المَشيئَةَ جارِيَهْ

I went to my Master Abi Umar al-Ridha

Seeking what would please the Will through him

وطوفانُ هَمّي قدْ طغَى ليُجيرَني

وتُرْكِبَني آلاؤهُ فوْقَ جارِيَهْ

And the flood of my concerns had overflowed

So his bounties would carry me over them

وإنّي لَراضٍ بالّذي يَرْتَضيه لي

ولوْ عبَدَتْ آباؤه شَنْتَمارِيَهْ

And I am pleased with what he is pleased for me

Even if his forefathers worshipped idols

وإنّ ظُنوني في الإمامِ وفَضْلِهِ

مُحقّقَةٌ واللهِ لا مُتَمارِيَهْ

And my thoughts about the Imam and his grace

Are assured, by Allah, not wavering

ففازَ بِما يهْواهُ منْ فضْلِ ربِّه

وأمُّ الذي يهْوى لهُ الشّرُّ هاوِيَهْ

So he attained what he desired of his Lord's grace

While the mother of whom evil is desired for him is falling
