How heavy is the day of parting
In the heart of the chief
To raise the matter then and the story
To the gracious guardian
The caravan traveled cutting through the desert
With the sailing camel
Every beautiful gazelle calling out
And parting from friends
I thought the night of meeting was a celebration
Yet it was full of yearning
Fasting women who don’t accept the concession
Before the feast and holiday
Since it hoped for it, it became specialized
With enormous effort
O Imam of the noble and the pride
Of radiant years
I present you this, may you never lack in life
Hoping and aspiring
I confronted the saying of the date seller
With difficult words
Beauty has hidden you, oh Hafsa
From a far place
From Ségilmassa and from Kafsa
And the lands of Jarid
