كُلَّ أَذىً فَاجْعَلْهُ مَا شِئْتَهُ

يَقْطَعُهُ الْمَوْتُ فَأَهْونْ بِهِ

Make of all harm what you will

Death shall end it, so count it slight

فَلْيَحْذَرِ الْمَرْءُ دَوَامَ الأَذَى

وَأَصْلُهُ الْغَفْلَةُ عَنْ رَبِّهِ

Let man beware persisting in harm

Whose root is heedlessness of his Lord
