أناسٌ مِن التّوحيدِ صِيغَتْ نُفوسُهُم
فَزُرْهُم تَرَ التّوحيدَ شَخصاً مُرَكبا
A people whose souls were fashioned out of divine unity—
visit them, and you will see divine unity as a person composed of parts.
وَمِن ساكِباتِ المُزْنِ فَيضُ أكُفِّهمْ
فَرِدْهُمْ تَرِدْ ماءَ الغمام وَأعْذَبا
Among the rainclouds’ downpours is the bounty of their hands;
so come to them for water: you will find the clouds’ own water—and sweeter still.
