حَدِيقَةُ ياسَمِينٍ لا
تَهِيمُ بِغَيْرِها الْحَدَقُ
A garden of jasmine, her gaze is fixed
On none but herself when the clouds weep
إِذَا جَفْنُ الغَمَامِ بَكَى
تَبَسَّمَ ثَغْرُها اليَقَقُ
Her buds smile though with cheeks still wet
Like hands of a new moon at dusk gently set
كأَطْرَافِ الأَهِلَّةِ سا
لَ فِي أثْنائِها الشَّفَقُ
