هُنِّئْتَ يَا بَدْرَ الكَمَالِ أهِلّة

طَلَعَتْ بِأسْعَد حَالَةٍ وَمَآبِ

You were congratulated, O full moon of perfection, on the occasion

You rose in the happiest of states and destinations

اثْنَانِ ثُمّ ابْنَان مِنْكَ تَفَرَّعَا

في أطْهرِ الأحْسَابِ والأنْسَابِ

Two, then two sons from you branched out

In the purest lineage and ancestry

وَهلالُ هَذا الشّهْرِ ثَالِثُها الذي

أبْدَى شهَاباً مِنْهُمَا لِشهَابِ

The crescent of this month is their third one, which

Displayed a flame from them for the flame

لا زَالت الأيّامُ وَاهِبَةَ المُنى

مِنْ مُنْتَدَاك لِمفضَلٍ وَهّابِ

The days have not ceased granting wishes

From your assembly to the Bounteous and the Bestower
