جَمَعْتَ لِلنَّاسِ بَينَ الرِّيِّ وَالشِّبعِ

فَهُمْ بأَخْصَبِ مُصطَافٍ وَمُرْتَبَعِ

You brought together for the people, prosperity and contentment,

So they live in the most fertile meadows and pastures.

وَلَمْ تَدَعْ كَرَماً إِلا أَتَيْتَ بِهِ

تُضِيفُ مُبْتَدَعاً مِنْهَا لِمُبْتَدَعِ

You left no generosity unattained,

Continuously introducing innovations upon innovations.

لَمَّا وَلِيتَ خَلعْت الخَيْرَ أجْمَعهُ

عَلَيْهِمُ فَبَدَوْا فِي أَجْمَلِ الخِلَعِ

When you assumed leadership, you bestowed all goodness upon them,

Dressing them in the finest garments.

وَحَسْبُ مَجْدِكَ مَا أَوْلاهُ جُودُكَ مِنْ

رَفْعِ الدُّعَاءِ لهُ في كلِّ مُجْتَمَعِ

It is enough that your glory is what your generosity has granted,

Raising prayers to Him in every gathering.

للَّهِ أَيامُكَ اسْتَوفَتْ مَحَاسِنَها

فَلا مَزِيَّةَ لِلأَعيَادِ والجُمَعِ

For God, your days have attained their goodness,

The holidays and gatherings have no distinction.

دامَتْ مَساعِيكَ والأَقْدارُ تُسْعِدُها

تُولِي المَساجِدَ إِنْصافاً مِنَ البِيَعِ

May your efforts continue as fortunes make them prosperous,

Appointing the mosques their due from the sale.
