Bearing perfume on the palm of a hand,

Clad in purple hastening with the hue of purple,

Whenever she sees the wine-ewer bow down to the goblet,

She prays to it without ablution or prostration.

With jasmine like smooth cream and narcissi

Like pendants of pearls on a rod of chrysolite.

With this and that one bless your night completely,

And ask no more of people about the morrow.

The days will reveal to you what you were ignorant of,

And those you did not provision will bring you news.
