The gray has clearly dawned on my temples,
Is there a night without a day?
Modesty has dressed me in a new garb,
And stripped me of a borrowed one.
I have drunk blackness with this whiteness,
So I changed the turban for the veil.
I have not sold passion with conditions,
Nor have I excluded my free will.
