1. أَما تَرى الأَرضَ قَد أَعطَتكَ زَهرَتَها

    مُخضَرَّةً وَاِكتَسى بِالنورِ عاريها

    Do you not see the earth has given you its blossoms

    Green and robed itself in light though bare

  2. فَلِلسَماءِ بُكاءٌ في حَدائِقِها

    وَلِلرِياضِ اِبتِسامٌ في نَواحيها

    While heaven weeps in its gardens

    And meadows smile about their edges
