Alas, hasten to the abode of joy and greet it

And say "Where is my pleasure and where is my conversation?"

And say "What eye has a house dwelt in

Other than yours? If you don't know that, then know it"

And yellow from the dye of estrangement is her hair

When a garland of aligned pearls is intertwined

With it I passed the life of darkness and drank it

Dark in bodies, bright in spirit
