صَبراً عَلى الهُمومِ وَالأَحزانِ

صَبراً عَلى الهُمومِ وَالأَحزانِ

وَفُرقَةِ الأَحبابِ وَالإِخوانِ

وَفُرقَةِ الأَحبابِ وَالإِخوانِ

Be patient in the face of cares and sorrows,

and separation from loved ones and brethren.

فَإِنَّ هَذا خُلُقُ الزَمانِ

فَإِنَّ هَذا خُلُقُ الزَمانِ

فَإِنَّ هَذا خُلُقُ الزَمانِ

فَإِنَّ هَذا خُلُقُ الزَمانِ

For this is the nature of time;

for this is the nature of time.
