يا عَينِ لا تُغلَبي عَلَيهِ

وَاِرعَي رِياضاً بِوَجنَتَيهِ

O eyes, do not overcome him

And nurture gardens with his cheeks

عودي إِلَيهِ إِلَيهِ عودي

فَمُنذُ أَطرَقتِ لَم تَريهِ

Return to him, return to him

Since you've looked away, you have not seen him
