I have become intoxicated while the darkness abounds,

And dawn for the travelers from it is gleaming.

From it, for the morning, an eloquent preacher,

And the night in the west from it is departing.

    With blood-stained spendthrift garments donned,

For him has been tailored a long youthful shirt,

And a departing skirt with tears overflowing,

Filling both his palms, wings expanding free.
