O breeze of the winds from my country

أَبَيتُ وَالشوقُ في الفِراشِ مَعي
يَكحَلُ عَيني بِمِروَدِ السَهدِ
I refused and yearning in bed with me
My eyes darken with the kohl of sleeplessness
مُعتَرِفاً بِالشَوقِ مُكتَئباً
أَشكو إِلى اللَهِ لا إِلى أَحَدِ
Confessing yearning, depressed
I complain to God, not to anyone
صَبّاً يَرى آخِرَ الحَياةِ وَلا
يَطمَعُ في راحَةٍ وَلا خُلُدِ
Pouring who sees the end of life and does not
Hope for rest or eternity
