تَ وَلا تُكثِرِ العَذَل

Do not blame when love has strayed,

Nor heap too much reproach.

لا تُذَكِّر بِوَصلِكَ ال

هَجرَ ما دامَ قَد عَقَل

Recall not ties now torn away,

If sense at last awoke.
