Generous am I, I do not refuse the night's hospitality
I count the days' blessings bestowed upon me
When I spend the night drinking atop greenery
Until drunken from the drinks - and yet remain thirsty
If I spend the night frolicking with a maiden neighbor
So the darkness hides me – and still I am not hidden
Should I dishonor my neighbor and betray her trust
God forbid I ever do so, for as long as I live
