My heart recoiled from burning rocks

Built by my bare hands and panic

Do not shy, O she-camel, from him

For he is a wine-pourer, stirred for wars

Who gave the valleys his grave and sins

If not for the embassy and torn garment's breadth

I'd have let her yearn on the saddle

The horsemen fled from Rabia after

He saved them from the flood of distress

He invokes Ali when he submitted his back

So you did invoke there unanswered

What a fine lad performed his journey

Nubaysha son of Habib on the Kudayd day
