A graceful steed does not falter with doubt

Yet becomes covered in flesh of the slain

Protection of the living, from Lu'ay, son of Ghalib

Their glorious endeavors will never fade

Refined, as God has perfumed her dwelling

And cleansed it of idols and all wickedness

If I have said what you claim I have said

Then my fingers did not raise my voice to me

How could that be when my love and support

Are for the house of God's Messenger, pride of all people

He has a lofty station above all mankind

Beyond the reach of the outstretched hands of any rival

For what has been said is no idle prattle

Rather the words of a noble and judicious man
