She who cast you from beneath her feet

Is a child born to obscure night's ignorance

Nights called Daisam, the son of Saq'ab

When the husband of two bitches collected scraps

So you have no glorious ancestry to count

And if you claim to be from Shija', you are a liar

But you are a slave who carried the pot, nose dripping

A vile flatterer of vile patrons, a minion

When ancestry is verified, they prosper

And if you claim it falsely, you are disgraced

You have no right to guardianship at the Rukni

Nor any share in the Prophet's kinship
