Najran has changed after its kings,
Its people and women are of ill repute.
Though the Merciful dissuaded from evil deeds,
Only a few strange tongues visit it now.
They want to hide from God their shame
When they come to it naked under thin cover.
Your women, your spouses, your daughters
Are tents whose pegs are dinars given for reward.
