I cannot enumerate your virtues in praise,
O gentle of manner, O glorious one.
My love for your noble traits has become passion,
And I have an excuse wherever you are alone.
All that is in you is praiseworthy, O Chosen One,
So what can I say when the matter itself testifies?
Honor and wisdom and intelligence,
And sublime qualities that surpass all bounds.
So accept in return for your bounty, gratitude
That renews itself each day and hour.
