وَسَرحَةٍ في سَماءِ السَرحِ قَد رَفَعَت

وَسَرحَةٍ في سَماءِ السَرحِ قَد رَفَعَت

بِبَيعَةِ المُصطَفى مِن رَأسِها تيها

بِبَيعَةِ المُصطَفى مِن رَأسِها تيها

And a towering tree—in the firmament of trees—that held

its head high with pride because of the pledge to the Chosen One—

أَزَلتَها حينَ غالَوا في الطَوافِ بِها

أَزَلتَها حينَ غالَوا في الطَوافِ بِها

وَكانَ تَطوافُهُم لِلدينَ تَشويها

وَكانَ تَطوافُهُم لِلدينَ تَشويها

you removed it when they went to excess in circumambulating it,

and their repeated circumambulation was a disfigurement of the faith.
