لِلونا شُهرَةٌ في الطِبِّ تاهَت
بِها مِصرٌ وَتاهَ بِها مَديحي
Luna has won a fame in medicine
In which Egypt glories—and my praise glories too.
وَمِن عَجَبٍ تَدينُ بِدينِ موسى
وَتَأتينا بِمُعجِزَةِ المَسيحِ
And wondrously, she follows the faith of Moses,
Yet comes to us bearing the miracle of Christ.
