You attained glory, O you adorned with majesty

A religion and life, may Allah increase your bounties

So to Allah belongs how dignified you were in Egypt

And to Allah belongs how pious you were in the Sacred House

As it headed towards the Ancient Sacred House

The Kaaba of the world walked to the Kaaba of guidance

The majesty of kingdom and religion overflowing from both

If only I took the path, if only

I reached the haven of the two abodes, vast and profitable

And in the procession a sun who sired the best of creation

The youth of the East, our Master, the Revered Prince

Walking to the sun of guidance reverently

Gems orbiting him wherever he goes

With its sides moons, suns and stars

If I were given a choice, I would choose to see

    Your staff alone chanting, ecstatic

I walk amidst the procession towards a courtyard

Upon whose Patron the God prayed and blessed

To the best of Allah's creation, who came speaking

His signs, the Gospel of Jesus son of Mary

You toured the coasts of the peninsula passing

Reviving its valleys, you were rain for it

The likes of you, auspicious, blessing

And the pilgrims after his person never saw

At Arafat, the like of your devoted self

You stoned and hit the idols, and they were not

    Idols over Iblis, but arrows

And He whom you pelt stands at loss

Though he seeks refuge in the heavens, best pelter

Between Safa and Marwa you gained more honor

By your endeavor, O Abbas, submitting to Allah

How the endeavorer hastened to you revering

You circumambulated, and how wishes orbited your turban

    Clasping it, sanctified through you

And when you touched the corner, its passions were stirred

If it could speak, it would have spoken

And what Farazdaq said regarding them both

The valleys of the Nile a prosperous people

And to unsheathe the sword which is nicked

You called for Egypt to prevail, and how often

Egypt called Allah for you to live and be safe

    Abraham was enamored with glory

    Ishmael was obsessed with them

If reverence for The Preserver filled his heart

From it, Tawfiq's heart was filled

And if he spends the night rousing Egypt to glory

From his supreme grandfather Ali he learned

He carried what they carried of glory and carving

    And excelled, exhausting eulogizers, prevaiing

To the House, so he headed towards it

He circumambulated it, then turned from its courtyard

If the Samaritan saw him, he would have submitted

In the year, until the year was fertile through you both

Nor did you leave any starving in the House's field

You pleased the Judge and the entire religion

The Judge and religion are pleased with you both
