مُتَغَطرِفينَ وَخِندِفٌ مِن حَولِهِم

كَاللَيلِ إِذ جاءَت بِعِزٍّ قَسوَرِ

كَاللَيلِ إِذ جاءَت بِعِزٍّ قَسوَرِ

Haughty, with Khindif all around him—

like the night, when Khindif came with a lion’s might.
