1. لَنا مَنكِبُ الإِسلامُ وَالهامَةُ الَّتي

    إِذا ما بَدَت لِلهامِ ذَلَّت كِبارُها

    Ours is Islam’s shoulder, and the head that

    whenever it appears among other heads, humbles the greatest of them.

  2. سَوابِقُنا في كُلِّ يَومٍ حَفيظَةٍ

    مُبَرِّزَةٌ ما يُستَطاعُ حِضارُها

    Our foremost deeds, on every day of honor’s fierce defense,

    stand conspicuous—none has the power to contain them.

  3. وَإِنّا لَمِمّا تَضرِبُ الكَبشَ ضَربَةً

    عَلى رَأسِهِ وَالحَربُ قَد لاحَ نارُها

    And we are indeed among those who strike the ram—the foremost champion—with a blow

    upon his head, when the fire of war has flared into view.
