عَميرَةُ عَبدِ القَيسِ خَيرُ عِمارَةٍ

وَفارِسُ عَبدِ القَيسِ مِنها وَنابُها

The home of 'Amirat, slave of al-Qais, is the best home,

And the horseman of the slave of al-Qais is its protector.

فَأَنتُم بَدَأتُم بِالهَدِيَّةِ قَبلَنا

فَكانَ عَلَينا يا اِبنَ مُخٍّ ثَوابُها

So you have started with the gift before us,

And so the reward was upon us, O son of Mukh, for it.
