    When people recount virtues,

The banners of my father Abu Harb tower over all who aspire to equal him.

The glory of every tribe comes to an end with them,

And they became for us the scions and the elders.

You are the reins of both the sons of Nizar,

When merits are counted among the two Holy Places.

A stalwart man of a tribe that time has not weakened,

With a critic who makes the immoral fall and attain their wishes.
